Mahal 5 Leominster Town 1.
THE obligatory Terry Williams goal threw Leominster the longest of West Midlands League Division One lifelines with minutes to go.
But there was no way a well organised and pacy Mahal side was going to give away four goals in five minutes.
Town had effectively been killed off by Mahal’s third just before half-time, an interval scoreline that the Briarwood Boys didn’t see coming after an evenly matched opening 20 minutes.
Once again, Town couldn’t make their good football count.
