A DEDICATED band of Hereford United fans will be putting their best feet forward later this month to raise funds for the cash-strapped Bulls.
The 10-strong party will be leaving Malvern at 7.30am on Saturday, November 24 and stepping out for Hereford, expecting to reach Edgar Street between 1.30pm and 2pm after walking down Aylestone Hill and through High Town.
The 10 include ex-players Stewart Phillips and Gareth Davies, club historian Ron Parrott and photographer Steve Niblett and Andy Vivian, Chris Styles, Claire Phillips, Stacey Cole, Gemma Eckley and Jon Hale.
Volunteers will be carrying donating buckets to help the party and there will be a reception in the Starlite Rooms on arrival where all fans are welcome.
Current pledges total £3,600 with the target £5,000 and organiser Jon Hale is still seeking a sponsor whose name will be emblazoned on the high-vis clothing worn by the walkers. Email him on hadopolythene@btconnect. com for details.
