Hereford United fans' forum arranged for November, says HUISA chairman Keith Dodd

SUPPORTERS’ chief Keith Dodd says a fans’ forum will take place at cash-strapped Hereford United next month.

The forum is being held in United's Starlite Rooms on Wednesday, November 14, starting at 7pm.

HUISA chairman Dodd had a constructive two-and-a-half-hour meeting with United chairman David Keyte last night.

“We had an excellent two-and-a-half hour meeting,” said Dodd.

“We are all now trying to look to the future – not what has happened - and we need to pull together to get through this”

Dodd has appealed for fans to 'be positive' towards the club and put aside their grumbles for now.

He urged supporters to snap up tickets for Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Shrewsbury Town at Edgar Street.

“We need to try to get a full-house for Saturday’s game for revenue reasons,” said Dodd.

“Anyone who loves the club must come along because a Hereford without Hereford United would be devastating.”

Dodd said United’s fans would be wearing their Halloween masks for club a fund-raiser tonight (Wednesday).

“We have a Halloween quiz and disco at the Starlite Rooms tonight and that should be a lot of fun,” said Dodd.

“There are lots of fund-raising ideas and events and it will take a bit of time for all the money to come in.”

He added: “If there is a Sugar Daddy out there who can come in and help the club, we’d love to hear from them.”
