Superb show by Louisa Sadler in Cricklands' Junior Championships of Great Britain

BISHOP of Hereford’s Bluecoat School pupil Louisa Sadler performed well in the Junior Championships of Great Britain at Cricklands.

The Year 10 pupil was placed in seven out of 10 classes at The David Broome Centre.

The 14-year-old showjumper and her horse ‘Baileys on Ice’ have been competing for two years.

Sadler is a member of Marden and District Riding Club and was delighted to qualify for the event.

The duo train regularly at Putley Riding Centre where Bailey is stabled.

The pair were up against around 50 competitors from across Great Britain, returning with seven rosettes and prize money.

Sadler was placed in classes at 3ft and 3ft 3” with second place her highest.

“Having watched the GB Equestrian team do so well at the Olympics really spurred me on to do my best and I was delighted with what I achieved at the championships,” she said.
