UPDATE: The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of wind - to be place throughout the rest of the day.
The Met Office say the spell of very windy weather is now likely on Monday in association with ex-Ophelia.
The warning states: "Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journeys times and cancellations possible.
"Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
"Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs could happen, perhaps leading to injuries and danger to life from flying debris.
"Coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities may be affected by spray and/or large waves.
"This is an update to bring the start time forward; this applicable to southwest England and southwest Wales where some impacts are likely from late morning.
"The yellow area has also been extended eastwards into more of the West Midlands and southwest England."
Original story:
WHILE parts of the UK gearing themselves for lashing winds and rain from Storm Ophelia, we look set for a rather pleasant day.
After an initially drizzly start rain is expected to clear for a dry and bright day.
There are expected to be some gusty winds at times though.
By lunchtime temperatures are expected to reach 20C.
Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland are the area expecting to face winds of up to 100mph later.

It looks like we're missing the worst of #Ophelia however we still have tree contractors on standby for gusts of up to 50mph later today
