ONE person has been killed after a fire at a caravan park near Malvern, Worcestershire, in the early hours of this morning.

Fire engines from Ledbury and Upton, plus two crews from the Gloucestershire service, rushed to the scene at the Three Counties Park, Upper Pendock, after a call at 4.42am.

On arrival the crews were presented with a severe fire in a static caravan, and - breathing apparatus crews tackled the fire with hosereel jets and compressed foam.

One fatality has been confirmed following this incident and police and fire officers are working together at the scene to establish the cause of the fire.
