LEIGH Baildham, regional representative from the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers of London called in at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy with some welcome financial assistance.
The art department had made a successful application to this historical society for a grant to support a project for next year’s Year 10 Art group.
Molly Stones and James Ward, who have chosen to study art next year, spent some time talking to Mr Baildham and were praised by him for their ‘excellent manner as delegates'.
The project involves a trip to a glass museum in Stourbridge and working with a glass artist on their own pieces - a great opportunity to design and make with a new material not available in school for their portfolios.
