IT was a good job that the heat of earlier in the week had dissipated because there was plenty to get a sweat on about when Tenbury had its ‘party in the park'.
The annual family day, that has been established by West Mercia Police, provided plenty to do.
For the more energetic there was rock climbing and a bungee jump while people who wanted a more restful time could take a mini train-ride around Palmers Meadow or a ride on the carousel.
There was an agility dog show and magician as well as the opportunity to get inside a fire engine with firefighters from Tenbury.
