A MARQUEE provided valuable refuge from the sun as the Tenbury Music Festival played on through what was the hottest day of the year so far.
The marquee had been provided to be either a shelter from rain or to offer shade and there was no doubt about its purpose as temperatures soared.
Music fans from all over the country converged upon Tenbury for the festival on the Burgage that raised money to help young cancer sufferers.
A strong line up was put together for the festival.
Mike Sanchez and His Band was top of the bill with exciting young local talents of Arcadia Roots and Abi K & the Roadsters.
There was Sticky Wicket and Friends, Abraxas, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, The Roustabouts and the Stone Mountain Sinners (which includes Sarah Warren).
Performing on the acoustic stage was an eclectic mix of fresh new talent alongside one or two old hands.
There was camping next to the festival for people who wanted to stay overnight.
But it was not all music as there were crafts and poetry workshops.
