A HOME care business has collected over 50 Easter eggs for Malvern Hills Foodbank.

Acer Care, in Avenue Road, Malvern, is now appealing for people to donate even more Easter eggs for the needy.

The company started collecting the chocolate treats for the foodbank in Spring Lane, Malvern, in February.

Sarah Bosher, development manager for Acer Care, said: "Whilst in discussion one of the managers at the foodbank we discovered that they had not had any donations so far.

"We thought it would be great for our staff to collect as many Easter eggs as possible and donate them to the foodbank.

"With only two weeks until Easter Sunday and not many eggs to go around to all the needy people of Malvern, we thought it would be great if Malvern as a community could donate just one Easter Egg to the foodbank or drop it in to AcerCare."

Locals can drop eggs off at AcerCare in 28a Avenue Road, Malvern, or call the care company on 01684 568001.
