STAFF from Fortis Living in Worcester helped boost funds for the Alzheimer’s Society by presenting them with a cheque for £1,130.15 raised during their recent Steps Together campaign.
The collection was just one of the activities organised by Fortis Living as part of the project, which saw staff walking across the county, meeting local school children and older people and bringing them together to share their memories of Worcestershire and their hopes for the future.
Paul Edwards of Fortis said: “We are thrilled to be able to support this worthwhile charity whilst raising awareness of dementia in such a positive way.”
Emma Dowler of the Alzheimer’s Society said: “The society has a significant role to play in supporting not only those with dementia but also their families and carers.
"We rely on the generosity of individuals and companies like Fortis Living to enable our charity to continue its work. The support from Fortis Living is fantastic, not only raising money but also helping us to raise awareness about dementia, and we are really grateful for their support."
