THE Royal Three Counties show returns to Malvern this weekend, promising one of its most spectacular years to date.

More than 90,000 people are expected through the gates of the Three Counties Showground for the three-day show, running between Friday and Sunday.

Billed as the UK’s largest livestock and equine event, the show is boasting a wealth of new and returning attractions this year.

Here are 10 things you can enjoy at the show this year:

1. Meet a countryside celeb

Royal Three Counties Ambassador and TV farming celebrity, Adam Henson, returns for 2017 for all three days of the show.

2. Watch a fashion show with a difference

Supermodels of the sheep world will take to the ‘wool walk’ in a fashion show as part of the Discover Sheep area. Celebrating the story of wool, an educational trail will be included in this area alongside hands on spinning, felting and knitting displays for visitors.

3. Have a bite to eat

Whet your appetite with the Royal Three Counties Show 'Pint and Ploughmans'. With a brew specially created by Gloucestershire-based Hillside Brewery, showgoers are invited to enjoy a slap up ploughmans alongside a bottle of Thirst in Class, the official Three Counties Show beer.

4. Catch up with the Young Farmers

Young Farmers never fail to deliver quirky off the wall events and this year is no exception, with activities including Lego construction and a ‘Dress like Adam Henson’ class.

The show's brand new Ask the Farmer Theatre is an area where visitors can ask the farmers anything that they’ve always wanted to know. The focus here is on Gloucestershire breeds such as Cotswold Lion Sheep, Gloucester Cattle, Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs, Gloucester Goose and Jubilee Game Hens.

9. Get an authentic taste of countryside life

The Country Pursuits Village is where you’ll find all things country, from Shetland ponies to sheepdog trials, falconry, farriery and blacksmithing.
