AN INTERIM boss has been appointed to a charity that supports elderly people in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.

Sam Humphray has taken on the role of chief executive officer of Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest (BRWF) for six months.

Sam has been Age UK’s BRWF’s finance manager since joining the charity in March 2017.

She said: “I am very pleased to be accepting the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer of Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest.

“These are challenging times for the charity, and the sector as a whole, but I know that the Age UK BRWF Board and this team are totally committed, and have the dedication and experience, to move the organisation forward so that we can continue providing essential services to the communities of Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.”
