A NURSE from Kidderminster Hospital has raised more than £1,800 after she 'braved the shave' for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Ursula Hyland, an outpatient staff nurse at the town's hospital, decided to shave her hair to give something back to the charity that has helped many of her friends and patients who have battled cancer.
She said: "I make cakes in my spare time so lots of people said I should have a charity cake sale - but my view was that I can do that any day.
"This was something out of my comfort zone that I hope will recognise the bravery, strength and determination of my friends and patients who have battled cancer.
"The support I have received has been amazing - I am humbled by all of the donations that I have received, even from people that I don't know."
