A KIDDERMINSTER scout group is celebrating its 50th birthday this month and to celebrate they are hosting a reunion event this weekend.
The 15th Kidderminster (Habberley) Scout Group will host the reunion at their Scout Hut, in Truro Drive, on Saturday (October 14) between 2pm and 5pm.
At the reunion there will be refreshments, a display of the group's history and old photos.
A spokesman for the group said: "All past members involved with the group are being invited to attend the celebrations, whether it be as a leader, beaver, cub, scout, committee member or any other involvement.
"We would also like to invite anyone interested in scouting to visit, as we are always looking for new members for all three sections, plus adult helpers."
The group began celebrating last month with a birthday party with present members at Rhydd Covert - which included games, a quiz, disco and a picnic tea.
The members have also been wearing a birthday badge on their uniforms - specially designed by one of the group's beavers scouts, the winner of a competition to design a group badge.
