A PLAN for 40 new homes has been unanimously approved by councillors in Main Street, Pinvin.
Cllr Rob Adams described the scheme by Cameron Homes Limited as "having a lot going for it" and called for his fellow councillors to go along with the planning officer's suggestion of approval.
Cllr Miller seconded his suggestion, before councillors voted for the application.
Local resident Elizabeth McBennett spoke against the application, believing that it would cause problems to her father's trees in The Uplands which are just off Main Street.
She said that they would face pressure to remove the trees, but David Onions, speaking for the application denied this would be the case as the owner's approval would be needed for any trees to be cut down on their land.
