IT’S a well-known superstition that Friday the 13th brings bad luck but staff at Dogs Trust Evesham are hoping that it will be a lucky day for one aptly-named dog.

Four-year-old crossbreed, Clover, has been at the charity’s rehoming centre in Wickhamford since June.

Chris Slight, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Evesham, said: “It’s such a shame that Clover hasn’t found her perfect home yet, but with a name that’s symbolic of good luck, we’re confident we’ll find a home for her soon.

“Despite the superstition that Friday 13th brings bad luck, we’re really hoping potential new owners will put any superstitions to one side and consider rehoming our lucky charm, Clover.

“Not only will you be offering a four-legged friend a happy home, but you will be gaining a new best friend. We don’t see what’s so unlucky about that.”

Clover has an endearing personality and loves human company but has lots of energy so would love an active home that can offer her plenty of exercise and training to keep her occupied.

She can be a little over-excitable at times so would be best suited to a home without children or other pets.
