EX-SERVICEMEN who lost limbs in service stopped off at a Vale pub as part of the annual Soldier Ride UK.
Thirty two ex-servicemen from the UK and USA visited The Fleece Inn at Bretforton during the ride.
The Fleece landlord Nigel Smith said: “It was an absolute privilege to welcome these ex-servicemen to The Fleece today and to hear more about their week’s cycling.
"We were delighted that they chose to visit us, as a stopover in the middle of beautiful rural Worcestershire.”
Solider Ride UK is a charity cycle ride across the United Kingdom.
Riders from two ex-service charities Blesma from the UK and The Wounded Warrior Project from the USA cycle approximately 30 miles a day for 5 days around the country to help raise money for their respective charities.
The cyclists arrived at the National Trust’s The Fleece Inn for lunch and refreshments.
