A BEAVER scout and a scout from 1st Evesham 1st Hampton Scout Group were presented with their chief scout awards in front of a large audience of parents at the recent annual general meeting of the group.

Hannah Felton achieved the highest award in the Beaver Scout Section, the chief scout bronze award.

To gain this award she had to complete six challenges and gain four activity badges over a period of two years.

Highlight for Hannah was a ‘Mr Magic’ sleepover with the Beaver Colony, where the children learnt to do magic tricks.

Caitlin Godfrey was presented with the Chief Scout Gold Award, the highest award in the scout section.

Over a period of almost four years, Caitlin worked to achieve nine challenge awards and gained six activity badges.

She particularly enjoyed the expedition and team leader challenges.
