ARTRIX will play host to a cracking line-up of festive shows for families during the Easter holidays.

Young audiences are invited to join in the fun on Easter Monday (April 2), when Easter Bunny's Eggs Factor will take to the Slideslow Drive main stage.

The family show, by the same team behind Marty MacDonald's Farm and Santa's Christmas Wish, includes a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, and a surprise treat for children.

Easter Bunny's Eggs Factor is recommended for audiences aged two to seven years old. Tickets for the show, starting at 2pm, cost £10 each.

On Sunday, April 8 at 2pm, popular nursery rhyme There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly will be brought to life on stage to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Pam Adams' best-selling book.

The magical show has been written especially for adults to enjoy with their children, with a soundtrack of sing-a-long songs and colourful animal characters.

Tickets cost £10 per child or £12 for adults, with family tickets available for £40.

The charming theatre production You've Got Dragons will arrive at Artrix on Wednesday, April 11, with two performances at 12.30pm and 3pm.

Supported by live music, You've Got Dragons tells the tale of one child's journey to come to terms with bad dreams - or a case of 'the dragons'.

The show features creative captioning, interwoven British sign language and audio description. Tickets cost £6 for children or £7 for adults.

Vienna Festival Ballet's ever-popular Swan Lake will grace the stage on Sunday, April 15 at 2pm and 5pm.

Audiences can expect lavish costumes, stunning scenery, international stars and glorious music from Tchaikovsky. Tickets start from £14.50.

As always, the Artrix cafe will be offering a range of refreshments, including children's picnic boxes, throughout the Easter holidays, and the free soft play area will be open in the foyer.
