FLOOD warnings have been issued in the county amid rising river levels.
The Environment Agency has issued a number of warnings, with the situation particularly concerning in Kempsey, with the Kempsey Yacht Gauge river level at 4.61 metres and rising as of 4pm on Friday.
A peak level of between 4.8 and 5.1 metres is expected to occur on Saturday afternoon.
At 2:45 pm on Friday, the Worcester Gauge river level in Barbourne was at 2.96 metres and rising.
A peak level of between 3.2 and 3.5 metres is expected to occur on Saturday afternoon.
Diglis Gauge was at 2.48 metres and rising at 2.45pm on Friday.
A peak level of between 2.6 and 2.9 metres is expected to occur on Saturday afternoon.
Saxons Lode Gauge, near Upton, was at 3.06 metres and rising at 2.45pm on Friday.
A peak level of between 3.4 and 3.7 metres is expected to occur on Saturday afternoon.
Low lying land and roads could be affected, including access for vehicles to Dunn’s Lane in Upton upon Severn.
This message will be updated by the Environment Agency at 9am on Saturday or if the situation changes.
