POLICE in Redditch are trying to trace a dog walker after a 16-year-old boy was bitten on the leg as he walked along Church Road in Astwood Bank.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, August 8

The boy sustained injuries to his leg which resulted in an open wound and bruising.

The dog is described as white with brown patches and of a medium size.

The dog was being walked by a woman who is described as being white, aged in her late 30s to early 40s, of a slim build and had dark brown hair.

She also had a small child with her.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to the woman, or anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it.

Anyone with information is being asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 614S of 9 August 2017.
