NEW acts have been added to a charity music festival in memory of a Bromsgrove couple’s daughter, who was tragically stillborn.

PERfest, which has been created by Samantha Pedley and Daniel Roberts, will take place this weekend in memory of their daughter Poppy Elizabeth Roberts.

Poppy was tragically born sleeping at 18 weeks on May 27.

A host of musicians are lined up to play at The Park Gate Inn, Kidderminster Road, Dodford, on Friday, August 18, and Saturday, August 19, in her memory.

Friday night sees soloist Niamh Wilson perform, alongside 60s cover band LeRoy and the Euphonics, rockers Dirty Lemonz, and solo star Dan Greenaway.

On Saturday, Niamh Wilson will return, while Josh Brown, Chip Langley and Matty Coles, folk-pop band Grafton Ash and Rolling Stones cover band Get Stoned will also play.

There's also a Bromsgrove Blue Grass session on Saturday from 12-3pm, with more acts still to be confirmed.

Funds will raise money towards the £60,000 cost of a second bereavement suite at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
