ST Leonard's Church in Beoley will be holding its annual Summer fête on Saturday, July 1.

The fete, set to be officially opened by singer Stephen Cesari, will include musical entertainment throughout the afternoon as well as the usual attractions.

The Rev Paul Irving said: “This year's fête is set to be better than ever, we will be having our usual mix of stalls ranging from tombola to the coconut shy, plant stall to White Elephant.

"We are also planning face painting and a bouncy castle, alongside a BBQ and cake sale.

There will also be the chance for people to find out more about the history of the church with a display from Redditch Local History Group.

It runs from 1.30 to 4.30pm.
