A CHRISTMAS crazy couple who open up their garden to raise funds for charity have been 'blown away' by the amount raised.

Norma and Mick Gale along with son Adam and Emily, based in Wales, raised £1,250 for Midlands Air Ambulance.

Visitors to the garden, nicknamed Santa's Garden, in Christine Avenue, Rushwick, kindly donated after seeing the spectacular lights and inflatables.

Mr Gale said: "We would like to thank all our visitors and all the people that have donated this year whether it was in the garden or by postal donations or just a donation in a Christmas card through the door.

"People have been so generous and we are all in awe that we managed to raise such a sum for such a deserving cause in the 18 nights we were open.

"And we shall open again and hopefully do it all again Christmas 2017."
