A NEW-LOOK Jessops Store will be opening in Oldbury’s Sainsbury’s supermarket today (Thursday, February 22).

As part of the photo shop’s revolution, camera displays have gone to make way for new photo printing creativity corners, while a team of ‘photosmiths’ will be on hand to offer expert advice.

The newly refurbished store will officially open at 9am following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, before an opening day event takes place from 10.30am.

Scott Worger, Jessops’ retail director, said: “With our new store we want to inspire customers to finally release their favourite photos from the cameras and phones they are trapped in.

“For many, one of the most thoughtful and sentimental gifts you can receive is a favourite photo presented beautifully in a frame. It is this idea that lies at the very heart of our new store concept.

“We are incredibly excited about the reopening and hope customers will pop in to try out our new gift printing services.”

The new shop will also offer one-hour photo printing, as well as a ‘Click and Collect’ service for customers to order cameras and other hardware into store.
