FUN, free and festive activities will give children of all ages something to do as Halesowen’s Cornbow Shopping Centre is holds its very own ‘Cornbow Christmas Trail’.

Youngsters have the chance to take part in a fun-filled letter hunt around the centre where they could win chocolate goodies.

Visitors can collect their trail sheets from the main desk at Halesowen Library before cracking the clues to find seven letters hidden inside the Cornbow.

Once they have each letter, they must then solve the secret Christmas word and take their completed form to the main office, located next to the library, to collect their gift.

Facebook and Twitter users can also use the official hashtag #CornbowXmasTrail when posting their trail photos on the social media sites to win extra chocolate goodies.

The Cornbow Christmas Trail is running until the end of December.

Earlier this year, the shopping centre announced a £1.2m, two-phased investment programme. Phase one of the improvement works started during the summer and involved external works to the centre.

Phase two of the works will start in early 2018 and will involve interior improvements to centre lighting, flooring, heating and ceilings.

Eve O’Connor, centre manager, said: “We are thrilled with the improvements which happened earlier this year and are looking forward to welcoming people to the centre for the Cornbow Christmas Trail, which is sure to provide a fun, festive and free family day out.”
