DUDLEY fire crews were on hand to put out a severe blaze in a garden in Coseley yesterday evening (Saturday, June 18).

Two crews from the town’s fire station joined a team from Bilston at the scene in Ettingshall Road at around 9pm.

West Midlands Fire Service received more than 20 calls from concerned nearby residents to the blaze which involved multiple conifer trees, vehicle tyres and a derelict shed.

The crews were able to put out the flames using a main jet and three hose reel jets.
