THREE Herefordshire students training for a tasty career have beaten off competition from teams all over the country.
The trio from Herefordshire College of Technology took bronze at the national final of the Brakes Student Chef Team Challenge at the Hotelympia Salon Culinaire International De Londres.
Level two hospitality and catering students Josie Davies, Chloe Dicken and Dale Williams came third out of 71 colleges nationally after narrowly losing out to level three teams from Manchester and Glasgow.
Course tutor Les Brown and local restaurateur Stuart Leggett, of the Stewing Pot in Hereford, have mentored the team.
