FIREFIGHTERS tackled a barn fire in Peterchurch yesterday.
Crews from Peterchurch and Ewyas Harold, as well as a water carrier from Leominster, were called near Fairfield High School at 10.40am.
A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire, which was brought under control within an hour.
There were no reports of the road being closed or the school being affected.
