A LEOMINSTER man died after being exposed to asbestos while working at a Cadbury's factory.

Philip Hall, 77, of Ryelands Road, Leominster went into St Michael's Hospice on February 28 of this year and died on March 2.

The main cause of death was mesothelioma, and prostate cancer was also listed.

The inquest at Herefordshire Coroner's Court heard the retired self-employed builder had been exposed to asbestos while working on pipework at Cadbury's factory near Leominster between 1966 and 1976.

Coroner Mark Bricknell concluded Mr Hall died of industrial disease.
