A COUPLE has written the script for a new pantomime for garden lovers everywhere.

Jason and Claire Harris, from Treago, have written a new pantomime called No Place Like Gnome, which will be preformed by Garway and Friends Av a Go Panto.

And the cast and crew return to the 'old' Garway Village Hall, even though they expected last year's pantomime to be the last one there.

A new community centre is being built in the village and should be open by the summer so this pantomime really could be the last one in the old tin hall.

Jason said: "We have written an original script this year which has gone through a strict quality control process in that if it makes both Claire and I laugh, it goes in."

Claire, 44, has directed the panto for the last four years and Jason, 46, is in charge of sound and lighting.

The pantomime will be shown on February 22 and 23 at 7.30pm and on February 24 at 2pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for children and concessions. All proceeds go to Garway Village Hall and Martha Trust Hereford.

Tickets can be bought at St Weonards Shop, Broad Oak Garage and The Garway Moon.
