CREDENHILL’S Taste for Adventure centre has been granted permission to build a new carpark for its indoor climbing wall.
Set up by former SAS solider Brummie Stokes and his wife Lynn in 1991, the outdoor adventure site includes a Boulder Barn Project.
Permission has now been granted by Herefordshire Council to build a car park for 18 cars on land north of the building and a new access point for the facility.
Lynn Stokes who now runs Taste for Adventure said: “We have a couple of things in the pipeline which will be good for Hereford. Brummie left a fantastic legacy.”
Concerns were initially raised about the safety of the new entrance to the site leading from the busy A480.
Bob Matthews, county councillor for Credenhill, added: “Planning permission was only granted subject to extensive improvements being made to the access.”
