A 79-YEAR-old died after falling backwards down the stairs, an inquest heard.
Shirley Duberley, of Woodville Avenue, Ealing, London was visiting her daughter in Tenbury Wells with her husband, Martin.
On January 23 she was walking up the stairs at her daughter's home when she fell backwards.
She was taken to Hereford County Hospital but died as a result of an upper cervical spine fracture.
The inquest at Herefordshire Coroner's Court heard she suffered from a number of health conditions which meant she was unsteady on her feet, but these did not cause her death.
The coroner recorded an accidental death.
