A 15-YEAR-old boy from Hereford has become a YouTube hit after gaining more than 100,000 subscribers.
Jake Mitchell started his YouTube channel in June 2013 uploading short videos twice a week about his daily life.
And the popularity of the channel has gone beyond his wildest dreams after he hit the 100,000 mark, which means he received a plaque from YouTube.
Jake, who lives in Hampton Dene, said: "When I started my aim was 1,000 but I didn't think I would ever get it. Then my aim was 100,000 and then I got that. I don't know next- maybe one million."
The popularity of his channel had led to a number of opportunities- he has played in the celebrity football tournament, Soccer Six, and also presented three shows of Technobabble- a show about technology- on CBBC.
He also makes money from his musings- he is sponsored and gets sent gifts from advertisers.
Jake goes to Bishops in Hereford and lives with his mum and dad, Suzanne and Rob, and sister, Eloise, 13.
He started filming videos when he was about eight and his editing skills are self-taught.
His advice to budding video bloggers is: "Just start as soon as you can. If you are at school don't worry about what other people think."
