ROSS Lions are holding their annual bonfire and fireworks night this Saturday.

Gates open at 6.30pm in the grounds of the Chase Hotel on November 1, with a cub and scouts lantern procession at 7pm.

The bonfire will then be lit and the fireworks begin at 7.30pm for at least 30 minutes.

Refreshment are for sale and The Ross Youth Lions- a club of young people based at John Kyrle High School- will be selling illuminated lightsticks for their chosen charities.

The rest of the money raised from the event will go to the Ross Lions Club charitable causes.

Entry is £6 per adult and £4 per child (aged 16 or under) and this can be paid on the gate.

Alcohol and sparklers will not be allowed in the Chase grounds and people are reminded not to bring their own fireworks.
