SCIENTIFIC experiments and a host of traditional games will be part of the packed lineup for a fete.
Broadwell and Donnington Fete takes place on Saturday with traditional stalls, a duck race involving up to 100 ducks and a dog show.
From noon, there will be scientific experiments for kids by Atomic Science involving cosmic slime.
A number of children's races, a jousting horse, a coconut shy and skittles are also amongst the entertainment as well as splat the rat, welly wanging, a raffle and a tombola.
A popular tug of war will also form part of the entertainment which also includes egg throwing and catching, best jam, cake competitions and the best piece of art competition for children.
Stalls include books, local Art, crafts, children’s toys, plants and cakes and there will be an abundance of food served on Broadwell Village Green.
Broadwell’s 12th Century church of St. Paul’s, decorated for a wedding, will be open to visitors.
The event takes place on Saturday from noon until 4pm.
