A MOTHER has organised a netball tournament to raise money for her disabled daughter.
Claire Lockyer from Broadway has organised the tournament for her daughter Lottie Lockyer so that she will be able to go up the stairs in their home.
Five-year-old Lottie suffers from a genetic disorder known as KCNQ2 which means that she cannot walk unaided and she also suffers from epilepsy, dysphagia and visual impairment.
Mrs Lockyer said: "At the moment, our daughter is unable to go upstairs and therefore lives purely downstairs.
"We would like to get her a wheelchair lift so that she can go upstairs.
"We want to get some more interest for the tournament, it does not matter what ability teams are."
Mrs Lockyer hopes to get 20 teams along for the tournament, which takes place at All Saints' Academy in Cheltenham from 9.30am until 3pm on Saturday June 10.
Teams must be booked on and paid by Monday May 15, to register a team email doingitforlottie@gmail.com
