STRIKING abstract structures feature in the annual Sculpture Trail around the gardens and ponds of the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury, beginning this month.

The event, which has been running at the Hanbury Road site for more than 10 years, runs daily from 10am to 5pm from Friday, August 25, until Saturday, September 30.

Featuring more than 100 different works of art, with new and returning artists from around the country, the trail creates an exhibition of dramatic sculptures, set against a stunning backdrop.

Key pieces on the trial are sculptures by Simon Probyn, who was awarded a gold medal this year for his garden display at the Hampton Court Flower Show.

New to the trail is Liz Dixon, who will exhibit a fisherman created from recycled materials, and Evesham artist Wendy Stafford’s giant fused glass flowers.

All sculptures are for sale or commission, with prices to suit most pockets.

Refreshments are available from the Farmhouse Restaurant.
