A 15-YEAR-old girl from Beoley who was reported as missing has been found. 

Cindy Worthington was reported missing at around 9pm on Monday, August 14. 

After a police appeal to find her was shared across the country, she was found in Birmingham last night (August 17) and taken to hospital as a precaution, but has since been discharged and is with officers.

Detective Sergeant Tim Macrae said: "We have had an exceptional response from the public and the media to our appeal.

"Our appeals were shared more than 9000 on social media and covered extensively in media around the country. I'd like to thank everyone who has helped us."

Police are still searching for the identity of a man pictured with Cindy at the Edward Elgar statue on High Street, Worcester, at around 1am on Monday. 

Detective Sergeant Macrae added: "We put out a CCTV image yesterday of a man we would like to speak to in connection with our investigation.

"We're still keen to identify this man and would urge anyone with information to contact us."
