A HEARTBROKEN man is appealing help to recover his motorbike, stolen from outside his work.
Alex Lawrence had his Yamaha MT-09 stolen from the motorcycle bay outside Wickes in Shrub Hill Retail Park in Tallow Hill, Worcester, at around 3pm on Sunday (May 21).
The 25-year-old, who works as a designer at Wickes, had only bought the bike around a year ago.
He had only just finishing paying his dad back the £6,500 which he used to pay for the second hand bike.
He said: “It was my only means of transport. It’s a bit heart breaking. You work hard and then people do something like this.
"I’m a bit of an enthusiast and this was my pride and joy. It’s a part of me. It’s bright orange – like my hair. I just want it back.”
The bike (pictured) is orange and black with the registration VU15BXA. In type it is described as a naked bike with an 850cc engine.
Mr Lawrence reported the theft to West Mercia Police straight away. He is now appealing for Worcester News readers to help re-unite him with his bike. If they do seek his bike they can call police on their non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 0468 s 210517.
