HOMEWARE store The Range will be opening its new store in Redditch on July 14.

The popular home, leisure and garden superstore is coming to Redditch following a deal negotiated by Capital & Regional, owners of the town’s Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

The new store, set to create as many as 80 jobs, is the centre’s biggest retail letting since Primark opened in 2007 and will be located in the former BHS unit on Park Walk opposite Marks and Spencer.

The Range stocks more than 65,000 products across 16 different departments, from homewares and furniture, through to DIY and art supplies.

Speaking earlier this year Kingfisher Shopping Centre manager Ken Williams said: "We’re thrilled The Range has chosen Redditch to open its next store.

"We continually strive to improve the centre to create a great shopping environment for our customers and this new addition is the perfect fit for this space, further adding to our varied retail mix here in the centre."

Chris Dawson, owner and founder of The Range, added: "The new store will create around 80 full and part-time jobs for the local area.

"Opening a new store is always an exciting moment for the company and it is very exciting that we are coming to Redditch.

"The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and I am sure that the new store will be a welcome addition to the local area”

The Range is the one of the fastest growing home, leisure and garden retailers in the UK with over 130 stores nationwide.
