POLICE have named a 55-year-old Kidderminster man who died in hospital at the weekend.
West Mercia Police have named the man as Mark Beresford and are treating his death as "unexplained".
Paramedics attended a property in Offmore Road, at around 8.30pm on Friday (March 24) where Mark was found with serious head injuries.
He died in hospital on Saturday (March 25).
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Police enquiries are on-going after a post-mortem indicated that his death is unexplained and investigations are continuing to ascertain how he sustained his injuries."
A 22-year-old man who was arrested on Saturday has been released on police bail until July.
West Mercia Police have asked that the privacy of Mark's family is respected at this difficult time.
On Sunday, Detective Inspector John Cashion said: "We are currently keeping an open mind about the cause of death and we are keen to speak to anyone who has any information that could help us with our enquires."
Anyone who has information that could help police with their enquiries is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident reference number 171S of March 25.
