STUDENTS from Tenbury High School have been all at sea.

A group of students from Tenbury High Ormiston Academy recently had the opportunity to participate in a week-long trip to the Isle of Wight, where they boosted their skills by learning a host of new water sports.

The students took part in the UKSA Sailing Trip, part-funded by the school's sponsor, Ormiston Academies Trust.

During their week-long stay, students had the chance to try their hand at a number of water activities including sailing, keel boating, paddle boarding, windsurfing and lots more.

This trip is part of Ormiston Academies Trust’s commitment to ensuring that all of its students have access to a wide range of opportunities outside the classroom, including in the arts, sports and outward bounds.

“At Tenbury High, like all academies within Ormiston Academies Trust, we are committed to providing students with a wide range of opportunities that will help them build the skills needed to succeed in life,” said Adrian Price, principal at the Tenbury High School Ormiston Academy.
