POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was raped at a property in Mount Pleasant.
The attack took place at about 9pm on Monday, August 15.
The perpetrator is described as white, around 5 foot 10, aged in his early 20s and dressed all in grey.
West Mercia Police Detective Inspector David Knight said "I would like to reassure local residents that attacks of this type by strangers are very rare, but we are keen to identify a man who was seen in the area.
"We treat all reports of rape and sexual assault very seriously and are dedicated to identifying those responsible and bringing them to justice.
"Specialist officers are providing support to the victim and the investigation is progressing quickly with a dedicated team of officers from Worcestershire County Investigations."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 834s of August 15.
