POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Rubery.
On Monday, June 6 at around 8.45pm a large group of men on bikes began shouting comments to a man standing outside a convenience store on New Road.
When the victim walked away, the men followed him towards St Chad's Road.
One of the men approached the victim and pulled out what is believed to have been a bladed weapon, asking him to empty his pockets.
The biker is described as a white man with dark brown hair, with a distinctive scar across his cheek. He was said to be wearing a grey hooded jacket and grey shorts.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and are encouraging them to call police on 101, quoting incident number 744s.
