PHILIP Dunne, MP for Ludlow, has nominated Golden Moments of Ludlow for the Tiffin Cup, an annual competition to find the best south Asian restaurant in the UK.
The Tiffin Cup is now in its 10th year.
MPs put forward nominations from their constituency, with one restaurant from each region shortlisted and invited to the grand final cook-off event at Parliament. This year, any proceeds will be donated to World Vision and WaterAid.
“I have visited several award-winning south Asian restaurants in the Ludlow constituency over the past few months and this competition is an excellent chance to demonstrate some of the great culinary diversity I have seen in our community,” said Philip Dunne.
“This was the verdict of local residents emailing me over recent weeks to suggest which south Asian restaurant they would like to see put forward for the award this year. I have now nominated Golden Moments of Ludlow to go forward to the next stage of the competition.
“Golden Moments is a worthy nominee and I look forward to this opportunity to champion a well-liked South Shropshire business on a national stage.”
