Several cars were damaged in an incident in St John's earlier today.
These pictures, supplied by reader Owen Copson, show the trail of damage left after what witnesses described as a car swerving out of control and crashing into a car near the traffic lights close to the Co-op store.
Onlookers say the car then hit two more vehicles as it reversed, before being driven off at speed, despite the fact that by this time it had suffered serious damage.
Reports say the driver was stopped by police later, although this has not yet been confirmed.
An ambulance attended but it is not known if anyone was hurt in the incident.
We will bring you more as soon as we have it.
