POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for witnesses after a book keepers on Worcester Road was burgled.

The burglary occurred at approximately 7.35pm on Monday, June 15, when two men entered the property and stole a large amount of cash. One man is believed to have left the shop in the direction of the town centre.

One suspect is described by witnesses as approximately 6ft tall, of mixed heritage, with short black receding hair. He was wearing a white tee shirt, with a logo of a circle with a cross in the middle on the front.

The second suspect is believed to be a white man, wearing a grey woolly hat or wellington sock over his face, which had two holes cut into it for his eyes. There was also grey masking tape stuck to the lower part of his face. He was wearing dark jeans, and a black hooded jacket with the hood down. It is believed he also had an abnormality or swelling on his left knuckle to middle finger.

Police would like to speak to anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity within the area around the time leading up to or during the incident.
