THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between December 15 and 19:

Joanne Rebecca Harriet Lee, aged 41, of Waggon Street, Old Hill, was fined £70 for stealing make up, worth £45.96, from Wilkinsons, Halesowen, and cheese, worth £10, from Iceland, Halesowen, on November 27. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Jessica Megan Mason, aged 27, of Claycroft Place, Lye, was discharged conditionally for six months for stealing DVD boxsets, worth £60, from BHS, Brierley Hill, on October 14. He must pay compensation of £60, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Karl Pickett, aged 34, of Lyde Green, Halesowen, was fined £265, for driving without due care and attention in Halesowen on August 9. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £26 and £85 court costs.

Thomas James Bywater, aged 31, of New England, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for causing £200 worth of damage to a police car in Brierley Hill on December 13, while subject to a community order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Neil William Jack Higgins, aged 29, of Woodgate Way, Belbroughton, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Stourbridge, without a licence or insurance, on October 18. When tested he had 94mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

David John Cullis, aged 37, of Tree Acre Grove, Colley Gate, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing meat, worth £88.60, from Tesco Express, Kingswinford, on November 17, while subject to a community order. He must pay compensation of £88.60, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

James Chattaway, aged 24, of Glebe Fields, Belbroughton, was fined £400 for drink driving in Stourbridge on November 29. When tested, he had 82mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £85 court costs.

Christopher Ronald Welch, aged 32, of Marigold Crescent, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a woman’s handbag in Dudley on July 21. He must pay compensation of £40, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Lee Parsons, aged 42, of Addison Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £130 for being drunk and disorderly in Brierley Hill on December 16, whilst subject to a conditional discharge. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Luke David Hinton, aged 27, of Uplands Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items, worth £620.19, from stores in Netherton, Dudley, Brierley Hill and Halesowen, between August 14 and November 21. He must pay compensation of £367.97, a victim surcharge of £60 and £500 court costs.

Richard Alan Haney, aged 39, of Eagle Close, Rowley Regis, was sent to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for two years, for assaulting a woman in Dudley, on numerous occasions between November 1, 2013 and March 16, 2014. He was also sentenced for destroying an iPhone 4, worth £150, in Dudley on March 16. He was given a two year restraining order and placed on supervision for two years. Haney was also given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £80 and £500 court costs.

Aaron Guest, aged 24, of Barn Close, Stourbridge, was fined £100 for possessing cannabis in Stourbridge on November 3. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Lee Anthony Barnsley, aged 46, of William Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £100 for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on August 17. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Zak Adam Westwood, aged 22, of Nanaimo Way, Kingswinford, was fined £280 for drink driving in Brierley Hill, on November 29. When tested he had 47mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Dean Simon Tucker, aged 34, of Green Park Road, Kates Hill, was given a 12 month community order for displaying some writing, a sign or other visible representation, which was threatening, abusive or insulting, with the intention of causing another person harassment, alarm or distress, in Dudley, on July 27. The offence was racially aggravated. He was also sentenced for exposing his genitals in Dudley, with the intention that someone would see and be caused alarm or distress, on July 27. He must carry out 120 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 court costs.
